Customers using any part of this website are bound by the following Terms and Conditions. 


CERTIFICATION: We are proud that our handmade soaps and natural skincare products comply with all legislation governing the manufacture of cosmetics in the UK and Europe. Our soap and skincare recipes are independently lab tested and certified as safe for use. Our labels use the appropriate latin-style INCI naming standards, Use by dates or logos, batch numbers, country of origin, manufacturers name and address and weight. Our products are made by us, The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd and we are the named responsible person in accordance with Current EU Regulations. 


PAYMENT All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling and are inclusive of VAT (20.%), unless otherwise specified. Postage and packing prices will be charged in addition to the price of any goods. Online payment will be provided in a secure environment. Payments must be made in Pounds Sterling and by one of the following credit card payment methods: Visa Credit/Debit, MasterCard Credit/ Debit, Diners Card, Maestro (Switch UK) and JCB or By Paypal.

The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd retains ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by the customer and the funds have been cleared. 

DELIVERY: Customers ordering Guest Toiletries either in Guest Size or Full Size Products, are required to make payment upon ordering, Lead times for these items are 7 - 10 days, dependent on stock levels. If there is a prolonged lead time is expected then we will contact you to inform you. 

All other orders: Mainland UK & Ireland Delivery Times: 3 to 5 working days. Channel Islands: 3 to 5 working days. Mainland Europe and International Delivery Times: Will vary depending on the destination. (3 to 10 Days) Upon purchase we will provide you with a quotation. Any products not available at the time of your order will be sent, as soon as possible when production of the products is complete. Shipping Is Via Either Royal Mail or Courier Service: We Ship WORLDWIDE, Shipping Costs are shown at checkout, after your chosen country is selected. All Shipping charges are based on weight of parcel and are shown at the time of checkout.

UK Shipping is usually sent First Class, Orders to the rest of the worlds will be sent on economy shipping, But will always have a tracking number and require a signature upon delivery. All Deliveries outside of the UK may require receiving countries Duties and Taxes To be paid, this is the responsibility of the customer to pay.?

DAMAGED/REJECTED GOODS The Customer must inspect the goods within a reasonable time (12 hours) after their receipt and are deemed to have accepted the goods unless within 7 days after their receipt the Customer notifies The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd that the goods are rejected. (This does not affect the customer's statutory rights).If no such action has been taken, The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd will consider the products as being of satisfactory quality to the customer and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any reject at a later date. Where goods purchased from this website have been received damaged, a refund/exchange application will only be acknowledged if the goods are returned together with their original packaging within 7 days of receipt to The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd, 6 Fore St, Mevagissey, Cornwall, PL26 6UQ. The costs of returning goods is to be paid by the customer and will only be refunded if The Bathhouse and Soapery ltd deem reasonable to do so. 

RETURNS PROCEDURE The Customer must send all returns within 7 days of receipt to: The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd, 6 Fore St, Mevagissey, Cornwall, PL26 6UQ. Where the rejection of the goods is due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement excluding return shipping costs.The method of payment used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase costs. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to The Bathhouse and Soapery Ltd before the refund or replacement can be issued. When returning items you are advised to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. 

CANCELLATIONS Cancellations can be made up to 14 days after receipt of the order, as long as the products remain unopened/unused, after this period the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment. For orders with a value of less than £42, cancellation must take place within 2 hours of order placement and communicated in writing (Email), otherwise the order will remain valid and full payment sought.

We have to inform you that Whilst you are using this site, and during the ordering process, any information and data collected from you will be used solely for the purpose of processing your order and improving our service to you. All Payments and Newsletter subscriptions are made using secure third party suppliers, who are all GDPR compliant. No financial information is held on our website servers. As you go through the ordering process, you will have to tick a box agreeing to us using your data, as described herein.

We will never sell on or disclose information to any third party whatsoever. Any information passed through this website is passed through a secure connection on the internet. ETHICAL POLICY: We would never test our products on animals, in fact it is illegal to do so in Europe, and we insist that all our suppliers have the same stance. We've searched high and low for suppliers that support the same policies as we do in terms of sustainability and environmentally friendly and we ensure that our own production is as environmentally sound as possible. Our packaging is kept to an absolute minimum. We use glass jars and recyclable plastic bottles and we urge all our customers to recycle all their packaging. We aim to maintain a high commitment of sustainability and environmental friendly operations to run in line with our natural, organic and environmentally friendly products.
